Intuit changes QIF format

Intuit changed the QIF (Quicken Information File) format to require a four digit year.

2/20/00  A new minor update for WinClose will be forthcoming soon to fix a problem for users who use the Export to Quicken feature in the CheckWriting menu in WinClose.  WinClose has always exported check dates with "mm/dd/yy" format.  Because of Y2K compliance concerns, Intuit now requires that the format must be changed to "mm/dd/yyyy".  Only Quicken 99 and Quicken 2000 are listed as Y2K compliant (including all of the permutations "Deluxe", "Basic" etc.).  The WinClose minor update (Version 4.8b) will be available soon at this site.  If you are using any Quicken version other that Quicken 99 or Quicken 2000, you will need to update it.  Until you have the new WinClose update, we suggest that you hold off exporting your data.  It should be noted that the export works with the two digit date for most users, but the category and class information is not included when imported into Quicken.
